STRANGE BREED

2011/01/31 - POEMS / THEM MARINES

WE ARE A STRANGE BREED……

WE RESPECT COURAGE, HONOR, COMMITMENT, AND EACH OTHER.

WE ARE TOUGH, AND THRIVE ON ADVERSITY AND CHALLENGE.

YET TEARS FILL OUR EYES,

WHEN WE SEE THE STARS & STRIPES,

READ NAMES ON THE WALL,

OR HEAR THE MARINE HYMN.

WE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN BE UNFAITHFUL.

SEMPER FI IS EMBEDDED IN OUR SOULS.

OUR BROTHERHOOD IS FOREVER.

WE ARE MARINES
